Sanctuary Days - What to Expect
A day to slow down, receive care and reconnect with yourself. Sanctuary of Authenticity offers time away from everyday demands to listen to what you need, acknowledge your journey and explore what being authentically you means at this point in your life.
Our Seven R’s gently guide the day:
Retreat · Receive · Regulate · Reflect · Release · Realign · Radiate
Through meditation, creativity, reflection, time in nature and therapeutic sound, you are invited to discover what supports you—and what you would like to carry into everyday life.
Come as you are
There is nothing you need to prepare and no particular way you need to feel. The day is held with a psychotherapy-informed approach that recognises the connection between body, mind and emotion. There is gentle structure, alongside space to follow your own pace. You can join in, observe, rest or take a little time to yourself. Sharing anything personal is always your choice.
ALL of you is welcome here
10.30am — Arriving & Settling
Arrive, enjoy tea or coffee and take time to settle into your surroundings.
We begin together with a welcome, gentle meditation and an opening reflection on authenticity: who you are, how far you have come and what you might need today.

Morning Sanctuary Listening to Yourself
The morning centres on a simple question:
What would support me today?
You can explore a selection of creative and reflective invitations, which may include writing, poetry, reflective cards, collage, drawing, natural materials, vibrational essences and the Himalayan singing bowls.
You might feel drawn to create, reflect or simply sit quietly.
There will be space to acknowledge your journey, consider what matters to you now, and notice what you would like to receive or gently begin to release.
1.00pm — Lunch and time to pause
Enjoy vegetarian soups, breads, snacks and refreshments, with time to eat slowly and let the morning settle.
You are welcome to connect with others at our chatter table, find a quieter space or enjoy some time on your own.

2.00pm Mother Nature
An invitation to spend time with Mother Nature, noticing the world around you and your place within it.
Feel the ground beneath your feet, listen to the sounds around you and allow your attention to rest on what you notice.
You might choose to walk gently, sit quietly or pause and observe. Please dress for the weather; we will adapt this part of the day to the conditions.
2.30pm Therapeutic Sound Healing
We return indoors for grounding and an immersive Himalayan singing-bowl sound journey.
We start with a warming cacao or herbal tea and consider any intentions that we wish to release.
Emma guides gentle somatic and grounding practices to help you settle and notice how you feel. Elizabeth then leads the sound experience, creating layers of tone, resonance and vibration.
This is time to rest, receive and allow the day’s experiences to settle in your own way.

4.00pm — Realign, radiate and take your sanctuary home
We return slowly from the sound journey and come together for a closing reflection.
What would you like to take home from today?
What feels important to realign with?
What small change could help you create a sanctuary within your everyday life?
Through quiet reflection and an optional opportunity to share, you can choose a manageable intention: a practice, a boundary, a permission or an act of care to return to.
Radiating may feel like greater ease in being yourself, expressing what matters to you or making choices that support your wellbeing.
4.30pm — Leaving with care.
We close with time to acknowledge yourself and the attention you have given to your own needs.
Our hope is that you leave with a clearer sense of what supports you and something practical to carry into your life.

Your comfort throughout the day
A yoga mat, additional cushioning, a blanket and a weighted eye mask are provided. You are welcome to bring a favourite cushion, blanket or another comfort item if you wish.
Please wear comfortable clothing, bring water and bring suitable layers for time outdoors.
A sanctuary for you.
A day to listen to yourself, receive and come home to yourself.
